Dr. Tanaka earned his Certificate of Specialty in Prosthodontics with honorary distinction from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. He has served as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry at both Boston and Dallas. With 18 years of experience in the field, Dr. Tanaka received his DDS degree from Nippon Dental University in Tokyo, Japan, in 2004. He further honed his expertise by completing an Advanced Graduate Study in Esthetics in 2008 and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics in 2011, both at Tufts University.
Growing up with a dentist father, I often joined him at work and was deeply inspired by the positive impact of his meticulous care on his patients. This experience instilled in me a passion for dentistry and a belief in the power of a beautiful smile to enhance one’s health, hygiene, confidence, and self-esteem. My goal is to help patients achieve the most attractive, natural-looking smile, thereby improving their overall well-being.

When he is not at the office, Dr. Tanaka enjoys spending time with family and friends, such as camping, playing golf and traveling. Dr. Tanaka has received numerous awards in recognition for his contribution to teaching over the years; most notably he was the recipient of the Best Faculty Teaching Award in recognition for Excellence in Clinical Teaching at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
